- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The tutor who ran the class had a lot of experience, being able to give practical advice and was very supportive, providing a comfortable environment for learning. This made the class more enjoyable than I had anticipated.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. Ann was knowledgeable, supportive and clearly enjoyed what she was doing. This helped people who were less outgoing to open up comfortably.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I thought I knew a lot about the English Language with studying it at Secondary School and College, but after this weekend I've learnt I need to progress so much more. The classroom experience helped me a lot for this
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. Emma was brilliant. She answered every question people had (some had 20 questions an hour) and she gave an honest answer every time.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I thought it was actually a very reasonably attempt at really giving basic teaching experience, while at the same time covering likely core topics and how these could be presented in a class.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. I thought our tutor was great. He was able to answer the critical questions I needed answering outside of the 2 day course material and within it.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The teacher was really great, professional but also fun! I learnt so much and even the daunting subjects such as teaching grammar were taught in a way that I enjoyed every minute of the course. The class size was also ideal because no one was put on the spot and equally everyone was able to as questions and learn at individual pace. There wasn't too much writing or reading from a board, the fact it was mainly listening and communicating appealed to me and I especially enjoyed working in groups, to first feel comfortable with the others and also the role-playing lesson planning was educational and fun!
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. Iona was welcoming, friendly, professional, great at explaining all aspects, fun and not at all strict which reinforced the feeling of enjoying being there! there was no "school" element to her teaching approach and everything was explained brilliantly, with a great range of learning activities from role play to ice breakers.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. The course was so much more than what I expected it to be. It really opened my eyes to the opportunities that are available upon completion of the course. Although the day was long, it did not seem that way because the structure was so dynamic. Every single aspect of what the teacher taught us I found to be useful and will take away with me on my TEFL journey.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. Liz was fantastic. She had just the right amount of discipline, enthusiasm, professionalism and humor to make her a joy to listen to. Her passion for what she does transpires. She made me even more hungry to complete this course so that I am better equipped to help others with my newly acquired skills.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I felt that the course gave an excellent introduction to studying TEFL in a very positive and supporting way. I felt that clear explanations were given to the different elements of the course and included the rationale behind the statements. The chance to talk with the instructor about his experiences was invaluable. The activities really helped to focus on the objectives of TEFL and working with others helped to clarify things and give support whilst learning.
- Q. How satisfied were you with your TEFL Tutor? A. He explained everything very well indeed and answered all our questions. He was very supportive and helped us to focus on the objective of each activity. He shared some of his experiences both in this country and overseas working as a TEFL teacher and these were food for thought and may well prepare us for certain situations in the future that may not be covered in a training manual!
