Take inspiration from their knowledge and experience of TEFL.
The TEFL Academy is the world's leading TEFL course provider. Our courses are designed to effectively teach our students the fundamental skills to enable them to be successful at teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL).
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. We covered a lot of ground, there was clear instruction, we were given both handouts and descriptions on a whiteboard. We each had an opportunity to practice, in front of our class, the lesson to be learnt. We were given critical, useful feedback.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the TEFL Tutor? A. Jane was knowledgeable, had a sense of humour, helpful and sensitive to students weaknesses, which she tried to correct, by encouraging a different approach.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I enjoyed the classroom because you get to meet new people and interact with different learning and teaching styles. It’s also a good opportunity for networking.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the TEFL Tutor? A. Thomas is an excellent instructor, whom I hope to model my own teaching after. He kept the class active and engaging for the entire course time. 10-hours really flies by in the in-person study when the instructor is doing what they’re supposed to. I had fun but also learned a lot and got amazing feedback to help me along my way.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I had an absolutely fantastic time with my fellow TEFL Students, the course was directed perfectly and we had just the right blend of hard work and interaction.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the TEFL Tutor? A. The TEFL Tutor was fantastic and taught extremely well. She had a welcoming, reassuring teaching approach.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I found it really fun and informative. I learnt a lot. The classroom element of the course went far beyond my expectations and was one of the best learning experiences I've ever had. Before attending the course I was quite apprehensive about completing 20 hours of learning in two days.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the TEFL Tutor? A. Judy made the experience really fun and informative, giving me lots of ideas for different teaching methods and was also a great example of how I would like my future students to perceive me. I learnt a great deal and the weekend flew by! Thanks Judy :)
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. At the end of the classes, I felt like I had learnt something. The classes were educational and most importantly fun! I thoroughly enjoyed the classes and I've learnt so much.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the TEFL Tutor? A. Our tutor had all the traits of a well-experienced teacher. She had a sense of humour. She was competent. Did her best to get the best out of every student and gave constructive criticism to help each one of us. She was fair and treated everyone equally. I want to thank her for all the effort she put in to make our experience truly memorable.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the classroom element of the course? A. I think I accomplished a lot within those two days. I was constantly challenged to go out of my comfort zone, which is a must if you want to grow as a person and learn new things. Most importantly it further confirmed my belief that I made the right decision in my career change.
- Q. How satisfied were you with the TEFL Tutor? A. I believe my TEFL tutor always brought a positive attitude in class despite the long and tiring hours. She had a passion for what she was talking about. Students can tell when a teacher actually cares about their role and responsibilities. You can't fake enthusiasm and commitment.
