Description
Would you like to teach English near the beautiful beaches of Costa Rica in a traditional, medium-sized town? Would you like to be able to walk to work and take a bus on the weekends to nearby volcanoes, waterfalls, national parks, beaches, and the neighboring country of Nicaragua? Instituto Estelar Bilingüe is located in Liberia, which is the capital city of the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica. Liberia has an international airport, is warm year-round, and is an ideal setting for improving your Spanish, volunteering in the community, and gaining valuable teaching and living abroad experience.
We require teachers to be native English speakers, hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, and possess a TEFL or CELTA certificate. Our teachers commit to one year teaching adults and children, and we prefer to hire teachers with teaching and living abroad experience. Some knowledge of Spanish is helpful but not required.
